When I open an image in Photoshop 7.0.1 and expand the window, the area around the image has a color to it. It used to be white. I don’t know how it changed, but I’d like to restore it to white.

Thank you

Select a foreground color that you would like to have it as… I believe the default is either 25% or 75% grey.

Then use the paint bucket tool, and shift-click in the area around outside the image.

R = 192
G = 192
B = 192

That’s the default color.
