I’m trying to set up my monitor profile using Adobe Gamma. I have selected the option to show the three different gammas. Changing any of the colors (RGB) results in no changes to the boxes in the middle. Even going from one end to the other makes no visible changes. I have an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro video card.

Any help is appreciated.

Jonathan,

I don’t know the details but have heard of problems with Adobe Gamma and certain ATI cards (or drivers). You might try searching the forum using keywords of "ATI", "Adobe", and "Gamma" for links to related threads. Also, here’s one particular thread discussing the new Catalyst drivers: <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?7@@.3bb417c7/7>

Good luck,

Daryl

Thanks for the info! I checked on ATI’s site and found a new release of the Catalyst drivers (posted 6/9/2004). They specifically mention the Adobe Gamma problem in the Readme. I installed the new drivers and, voila!, it works!
