Hello.

Can anyone please explain to me how to configure Scratch Disc in Photoshop SC? By default the Scratch Disc set to Startup. If I leave it the default setting every time I try to crop the image specifying the crop size and pixels I get message the operation cannot be perform because scratch disc is full. If I blank out the pixels field the crop will work. When I specify the alternative physical drive and try to crop with pixels the crop starts and then stops. At this time my computer completely locked up. The alternative drive has some kind of temp file, which is very large. My only way is to unplug the PC because I can’t even close the Photoshop thru task manager.

Thanks

are you trying to crop in inches rather than pixels? 600 inches vs 600 pixels is a very different thing and can make things very slow!

I am not sure, but I think it is pixels. The ruler set to pixels. So I asume its pixels. But I will have to check.
