I would like to know if anyone could speculate when the boxed version of Photoshop CS-2 will make it to retail outlets like "Best Buy" or "Staples"? Just need the upgrade version for XP. I don’t really care for this download only thing. I prefer having a CD version and a User Guide Book and i really can’t stand using Acrobat just to view tutorials and other Photoshop information. Maybe Adobe feels that everyone has a broadband connection these days. I’m currently using cable modem, so high speed connectivity is really not a problem, but what if I was on dial-up? Alot of people still are and it would take days to download even the upgrade version. Adobe is taking the cheap way out by not manufacturing CD’s and printing out User Guides. It just kinda blows if you know what i mean? Just like having the boxed version around so i could re-install if a problem arises on my shitbox (pc). One never knows when running Windows when that could happen.

Is there some reason you don’t buy it from someone who will send it to you in the retail box?

Why not buy it on-line from somewhere like Amazon? They ship it to you in a box.
