I have recently upgraded to CS and would like to know if I need to keep the older versions of PS on my hard drive.

Nope. You can uninstall them.

No, you don’t need to keep the older versions of PS installed; however, it is smart to retain the older version(s) at least untill you are completely satisfied that the newest one is working properly. When uninstalling an older version, answer ‘No’ when asked whether to delete any shared file.

You can uninstall the prior versions from your HD if you’re satisfied with CS, but I would definitely keep the original installation CD(s), in case a re-installation of PS CS is needed some time in the future.

Dale,

If you are happy and confident with your new version you can uninstall any previous versions – just say ‘No’ when asked if you wish to remove shared files.
