I’m only asking here as I have had NO help from any of the so called computer people who work in the local computer stores.

Example: Yes sir ALL scanners have those features
Does this one?
….. I don’t know

I am in need of a photo scanner as I have thousands of photos I would like to save to CD.

I would like some form of automatic scratch / noise remover. I need one that I can stick multiple photos in and it will re-align them, and split the scan into individual photos.

Can anyone suggest a model

I have seen the Epson 4900. It’s around $500. 00 Cdn
But would that be overkill

Thanks

How about Microtek i320. It has Digital Ice. $99
http://www.microtekusa.com/smi320.html There are better ones, but tis is cheap. I am using a 5900 with 2400 dpi which works fine on slides. Photoshop can already isolate pictures from a group.
