I DAGS and rooted around on the Fuji and Photoshop sites trying to figure out why the RAW converter in Photoshop CS will not open the Fuji RAF files I created with my Fuji S7000… couldn’t find the answer, or at least one I could understand!

Is it possible that something is wrong with my installation of CS or does it simply not work with RAF files? If that latter, is there an appropriate downloadable plug-in for Photoshop CS?

Thanks,

John

Hi there.

Don’t know if the S7000 is different, but the ACR will read raw files created on the Fuji S5500 (S5100), even though they do not seem to be listed among the Cameras supported.

I think you need to download the latest version of the raw converter from adobe. I had the same problem and an update fixed it. The adobe raw is much better than the basic fuji converter.

Thanks… I downloaded the latest raw plug in and that took care of the problem. Guess I was too tired to find the thing the other night!
