Anyone else experience instability problems with the new 4.6 drivers? Adobe Gamma works, but I get frequent crashes now.

Both Catalyst 4.5 and 4.6 have proven themselves to be problematic. You can download version 4.4 using the below URL. Hope this helps.

I actually went back to 4.1, which I believe still works with Adobe Gamma.

You can get it here:

just went back to 4.1. bastages! i didn’t realize it cuz i had blown out a monitor, but today I got a lacie electron blue 22 and moved my nec lcd back to my 2ndary adapter (nvida vanta). turns out the newer catalyst drivers don’t work and play well with the nvida and it disables the 2nd monitor. tried 4.5 and 4.4 before getting fed up (5 1/2 hours and un-countable reboots!) and rolling back to 4.1. sons of beaches! they’re gonna get a nasty email from me in the morning! why can’t they just fix the forslucking bugs and leave everything else alone! no! we gotta add new "features" to our drivers to disable the competition. VERY NOT COOL!

on the plus side, they now have a catalyst uninstaller that wipes all traces of the ati drivers off your system so you can start fresh.
