Is there anywhere I can get Albertus Extra Bold anywhere for free on the web?

Have you tried any of the fonts newsgroups? There’s alt.binaries.font, alt.binaries.fonts, comp.fonts and many others. Ask over there, I’m sure they’ll be able to help you out.

If the co-worker has the project why doesn’t he have the font? I think you are supposed to pay for them in a commercial usage.

Well, let’s see, maybe the project is artwork that was made with a known font that he needs to find, duh?
And, why not try to find it for free before popping for it. Damn H, you just love to spout off without thinking.

– The co-worker works in a different building up the road from me – It’s the weekend – I can’t reach him
– I need to modify his design (that he made for me) and have it ready by Monday.
– It’s not for commercial gain…it’s a beautiful retirement certificate that I could not possibly create myself.

I’m not a graphics professional; just a manager trying to retire a guy in style. Some of the info was wrong on the certificate, so I wanted to fix the photoshop file (a few dates) in time for the ceremony.

BTW: During my search of the web, I found links saying Albertus Extra Bold was part of WIN 95; strange…

If I don’t get this font by tomorrow night, I have to try and recreate the certificate (using a different font) and apply all the formatting that I have absolutely no idea how to do! I hate reinventing the wheel…

Sorry for upsetting you, it wasn’t my intention

Don’t be sorry, she has issues. She loves to tell people they are wrong, or how to do it the only way, her way.

It may have been in Win95, but the references I can find show that it’s normally available as a font that comes with either HP or Lexmark printers.

Sorry clicked send a bit too quickly – could you give me a valid email address for the 65kb font?
