Creating custom rollovers in ImageReady CS

I’m following a HOT tutorial for Imageready CS and adding different effects to an ‘over’ image and a ‘down’ image. The tutorial tells me how to save the effect as a rollover style but when I come to apply the style to a new image/button, only the ‘over’ effect is applied (albeit to both the over and down states). How do I create a rollover style button that has the different efects for the ‘over’ and ‘down’ state?
