How can I resize an image and send an email copy of it from within Photoshop 7 (win) ?

1)You resize an image using image>adjustments>image size
2)save the image to disk, then in your e-mailing program, add this saved file as an attachment.

A trip to the help file and user guide might save you the waiting time for an answer…

Also, Photoshop might not be the application you should be using, if all you intend to do is resize and e-mail a picture. It is like buing a tractor to cut 1 square meter of grass…

Photoshop Album is a good product for doing this kind of thing.

If you are runnning XP the easiest way is to send it from Explorer using "Send to > Mail Recipient". You’ll get a dialog box that asks if you want to "Make all my pictures smaller", then it automatically creates a JPG from the image file(s) and attaches it to your email. Since the File|Open box in Photoshop shows an Explorer view this can be accessed by right-clicking on the file in the dialog box.

I may be mistaken, but I think it depends on what e-mail program you’re using. I know it works that way with Outlook.
