Save for Web Not Functioning

Hey people,

I have a small problem with Photoshop v7. I used to be able to save images using the save for web function, but until recently I keep getting an error message, the message reads:

‘ Could not complete this operation because an assertion failed ‘

Anyone know what’s going on? Any help is much appreciated.

On a guess I’d say trash preferences. Another thing to check is whether the file is 16 bit per channel or bitmap and change it. You could also have a corrupted Save for Web plugin in which case find it on the installation disk and replace it. But I’m betting trashing prefs is the best bet.

Are you updated to 7.0.1 as you should be?
