Hi,
You will soon see that this is a newby type issue
When I automate a batch of images to produce web pages, on each there is shown 16 thumbnail images by default. Is there any way I can present (many) more thumbnails on each page. I am currently crawling up a steep learning curve where I am attempting to design a web site where I can display an inventory of my 1500 products. When I automate a batch 90 odd pages are generated – too much for the reader to click through. On a related issue ; all my products are numbered when the jpegs are thrown up to the pages they appear like 492, 493, 4931, 4932, 51 etc rather than sequentially numbered, how can I resolve this?
Pretty basic I know, and some of you guys might be in stiches by now already, but I was simply going to refer the reader from the numbered product on a categorised inventory list on one page, by a link to the generated web page created in adobe in another part of the site. The user would need to click through a few adobe pages using the number they had scribbled on their hands. Might be a bit crude even if it works, but won’t get out of the mud with 90 pages and the numbers out of synch. Any alternative ideas which might be achievable by one with the most rudimentary skills would also be appreciated.
