Do anybody know of a utility (plugin? standalone?) able to resample colour information much in the same way that you can increase ppi using an algorithm like bicubic resampling.
If you tweak gamma too much, posterising creeps in. This is much less of an issue, when you work in 48 bpp than 24 bpp.
