When working with the brushes all I can see is a crosshatch and not the circle to work with. I Have done the following to change and it doe’s not work.

Edit
Preferences
Display and cursors
Painting Cursors
Brush Size
OK.
That is what I have been doing and it sill is the crosshatch ( I think they call it precise.

What am I doing wrong ?????
Thank you for the time.

You have the CAPS LOCK key on your keyboard turned on.

CAPS LOCK toggles between precise cursors and whatever you have chosen in Preferences.

Ron,

I hope that you found your Cap Locks key was, in fact, on, as most folk have indicated.

As an aside, I think that you posted this question to a few different NG’s, and probably got the same answer in each. I suggested it in one of the " photography" NG’s. You might want to consider X-Posting to the groups, in this case the two Photoshop NG’s, plus the photography group(s). Though X-Posting to several NG’s is looked down upon in some circles, yours is a good case for doing so. This allows the thread to be populated from all of the NG’s, and should someone do a Google.Groups search for the subject of your question, they will get all of the responses linked. It also keeps the same answer, begin posted by dozens of subscribers down. Just a suggestion.

Most of all, I hope that your problem has been solved.
