Perhaps we can help on a specific problem.

i am GUESSING that the OP is trying to blend images together to make some sorta collage???? (just a hunch here)…if so…find some tutorials regarding "layer mask" and using a gradient to "blend". its really quite simple.

One could also go the more difficult and learn about channels.
