I created a vector mask with "Reveal All" and now the object is masked instead of the background. How do you invert a vector mask to "Hide All"?

The solution seems simple enough, yet I am having trouble on figuring it out or find information on the subject. My current workaround involves converting the path to a selection and inverting the selection. But this option does not allow me to tweak the vector mask, which will also serve an offset graphic after the masking the object. Let me know if you have further suggestions.

Try clicking on the path using the Path Select tool and then click on the icons on the Options Bar until you get what you want.
