After applying Unsharp Mask in PS7, Edit>Fade is grayed out. How can the command be enabled? Thanks.

I’ve never seen this happen. Are you doing Edit>Fade as the very next step? If so, it should work … what mode is your file in? Can you give us a bit more detail … should work fine unless you do something just after the USM, even something trivial like cntrl-d to deselect or similar.

Try it immediately after USM and if it still won’t go give us more details about the state of your file.

I’ll bet your image is 16-bit. Go to Image->Mode and select 8-bit.
