I was wondering if anyone is using Photoshop CS2 on a Mac Mini, Ibook, Powerbook or any G4 processor. I’m using it on my notebook (Gateway 600XL, 3 years old) with Pentium 4 M, 1 gig of ram and a 64 mb ATI Radeon 7500 and noticing some performance degradation. Adobe recommends reducing image cache levels or reducing or disabling hardware acceleration in Windows. Some tweaking involved and i was just wondering if anyone was experiencing said problems on Macintosh. Photoshop CS ran okay on the Mac Mini, just not sure about CS-2.

Thanx,
TP

I you do not define ‘some performance degradation’, how can I say if I experience the same? I run CS2 on both a 15 inch Powerbook as well as a 1 GHz MP G4 machine. Both systems run fine, but obviously a G5 MP will be faster.
