I opened a psd file in imageready, set up an animation. And now i want to save it as an animated gif, like i’ve done sereral times with different psd files. And it will only save as jpeg. On the bottom of the window in the information bar it says — JPEG where in my other animations it says GIF. I need some help.

It turned out to be extremely silly. A floating window to set the optimization settings was hidden. There i set the output to GIF 128, and everything worked fine again. I don’t use imageready often, but this one i will not easily forget.
thanks anyway.

I wonder what percentage PhotoShop users do make use of Imageready

None that haven’t been classified insane 😉

Anyway, Adobe have already said there will be no more upgrades to it and that they are dropping it (at last they’ve seen sense <g>). Not surprising now they have Fireworks.
