When I download images from my camera into Photoshop the default resolution is 72 ppi. I then have to change each one to 300 ppi as I usually want prints. How do I configure PS to do that by default?

Many thanks.

If the camera is not writing resolution information, Photoshop will call it 72 ppi and there’s nothing you can do about that. Your best bet is to make an action changing the rez (NO RESAMPLING) and save as a tiff for print; run it as a batch.
