I am not certain this post belongs in this NG so if it doesn’t apologies to all in advance .

In surfing the web I’ve discovered a site which publishes photographs of various aircraft and would like to caapture these as .jpg files so that I may add them to an e-mail I want to send .

Is this possible from XP Pro desktop and , if it is , how do you do it ?

Right-click on the pic and choose Save Image or whatever your browser’s equivalent is. Save it to a folder on your HD. It’s probably already a jpeg if it’s a photo.

If it’s too big resize it in Photoshop or what have you.

XP can re size for you
if you click any jpg and choose send to>email recipient, a box will come up and ask you if you want to make it smaller

2 things for noobs: when you choose save picture as… remember what folder you are saving it too so you can find it again. If the dialog box is not what you want use browse…..

If you don’t need or want to save a bunch of images, right click the web picture and choose properties, copy the address of the image (http://…whatever) and can send links to images
