Are there any LCD monitors that could be recommended for photoshop/graphics work? Most seem to be suited for word processing, business stuff, etc, but I haven’t found any that have been reviewed and considered suitable for photoshop. I’ve been looking at the Dell 2001FP which has gotten nearly rave reviews, and the Formac Gallery 2010 which got great reviews but appear to have quality control issues. I’d like to know if professionals are actually using LCDs… Thanks.

I always swore by CRT monitors. Just got a Samsung SyncMaster 213T LCD monitor and VERY HAPPY. Calibration went well with Monaco systems hardware and software and very happy with the results.

I use the 213T at work as well and have never been more happy.

I purchased a Viewsonic VP2030b and am quite pleased with the monitor. I turned the brightness down to a comfortable level, then created a profile using MonacoOptix Pro.
