Is there a way to make different levels of opacity in the same image (for instance when merging photos)? Say a photo of a person with nature backgound and you want him to be 100 %. And one part of the photo 50% and another part 30% (just an example of the top of my head.
And what is the best way to blend a selection into a photo so it doesn’t stand out?

Yes- you can do that with a layer mask.

Add a layer mask, then click on the mask icon in your layers pallet, and paint on your picture with black. Change the opacity of the brush as you go.
