Is there a way to take a graphic (say a flower) and make it into a paintbrush so that I can wave it over an area and have the graphic sprinkled (or sprayed) of the area and have Photoshop generate all those nice color variations close to the selected paint color?

Thanks.

Select the graphic, define brush, select the new brush, paint with it….
