We are in the process of installing a new W2K server. We have heard from one of our competitors that Adobe Photo shop has limitations on seeing data on large raids (1.0 Terabyte & larger). The server we are about to install is a 1.7 Terabyte server and our concern is that our adobe users will not be able to see data past the 1.0 limitation. We have talked with Adobe Sales, support and support supervisors and no one is able to give us an answer other then "most business do not store their data on servers so they are not able to answer the question". We currently use Adobe Photo shop various versions 5.5 – CS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Standard. The Adobe software is installed on the users work stations – 2000 – XP, and the data (jpg, jpe, pdf, tiff, psd, bmp are stored on the server. Does anyone know of this size limitation and does this impact all adobe products or just photo shop.
Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
