I am trying too make the whole document’s edges rough as if they have been torn (treasure map). I have been using the lasso tool with the option to add. Unfortunately sometimes the selection snaps closed too early. I have continued and finally do get an outline that I would like but the innerparts are sometimes connected. How would I go about then making the outer lines to join so that I have a continuous line going around the outer side of the document and no connected inner selection
Thanks for any advice in advance

Hello Isk,

Not sure exactly what your problem is, but here’s a link to another thread that suggests an alternate way to accomplish what you’re looking for. I’ve used it myself with more or less the desired result.

Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for taking the trouble to answer (and that so early for you). Yes your pointer to the tutorial was a help. In the meantime I have worked out how to solve the problem I had doing it the way I was – great, now I have 2 totally different ways of doing the same thing.
All the best

No problem, Iskender. Glad I was able to help (though I guess it wasn’t me that helped, so much as it was the more knowledgeable people in the thread I pointed you to).
