Can anyone recommend a CD\DVD tutorial for PhotoShop? I am a software engineer who wants to dabble in making some small icons. We have no one to do this work at the office and the icons an associate made with msPaint look like msCrap!

Don’t think you want photoshop for icon work.

Think you’ll find this much easier to use and more icon friendly

Photoshop is way too expensive and sophisticated to use just to create icons. Having said that I don’t know what I’d recommend for icons but somebody will advise here no doubt

You’d be better off using an icon creator. Try Microangelo http://www.microangelo.us/
There are several other programs out there just for doing icons. Do a google search on icon software.
