I know that this has already been discussed, but, is there a simple tutorial for animating a lake/water in a photo. Please point me in the right direction.

You’re not going to do this in Photoshop easily. Your best bet is to get After Effects or some 3D app and render this using a plugin or carefully crafted plane, displacement maps, and texture maps.

Perhaps even something like Bryce?

Photoshop is near the bottom of the list for doing this sort of thing, in my opinion.
