Hi, I have an image that is 22mb that I need to shrink for a web page. I would like it to be no than 15k. How do I do this in photoshop 7 without distorting the image. I plan to display the image on the web page at 250×186 pixels.
Thanks for your help. JC

Use the ‘save for web’ feature – enter the required pixel dimensions, choose the most suitable compression type (JPEG / GIF / PNG), then Optimise to File size > 15K.

First, resize it to 250×186 pixels using the Image Size command, Then, use Save for Web.
