I can’t figure out how to eliminate fine black pinstripe lines in prints off my PC to a Canon 9100 printer using Photoshop 7 and Windows 2000 Professional. On an A4 print these look like very fine (almost single pixel/droplet) lines about 1/4 inch (0.5 cm) apart which run parallel to the direction of the print head. In every other respect the print is fine. The wierd thing is that the problem doesn’t seem to occur printing from P7 loaded om my laptop with Windows XP. Any ideas please…?
My pc has plenty of memory (1 Gig RAM.

Peter,

That sounds like a printer driver problem. Uninstall the driver and reinstall it. Or better; get the latest driver from Canon.

It could also be a Service Pack issue, But I have W2000 too and I have never been able to upgrade that over the internet without completely screwing up that pc to a reformat state.
