Hello,

As a real beginner I wish to know how I can start with a blank page with a secure dimension (in this case 1920×1080 pixels).

And how can I fill this with several pics spread over this page?

Many thanks in advance from a starter!!
Frans

Open a new document and enter the dimensions you require and the resolution
i.e. A4 at 240 dpi.
then open the various image files and drag and drop them into your new document – a new layer will be created for each one, and they can then be positioned.

Open your blank page and size it to full screen. Now open each of the other photos that you want to put on it. Then, using the move tool, click and drag a photo to the blank page. It will become a layer on the blank page. Use transform to size the photo and the move tool to position it. Then add another photo by doing the same. Continue until you have added all of the photos. With the layers pallet open, you can select any of the photos that you have placed on the blank page one at a time if you should want to go back and make minor changes or color adjustments to get the overall look the way that you want.

Others have provide the "how", but I take it you are making a collage of pictures. If that’s the case, then use "free transform" (holding shift down) to resize the images where needed. Knowing how to order your layers will be important.
