Colors in Photoshop

When I first installed Photoshop any Jpeg image I open it the colors are pink and black. I’m using an ATI 9600 All in Wonder card and I’m not sure if thats the problem. My monitor is a SyncMaster 753df made by Samsung and the color palette for Windoes XP pro was specified by the software. Any body have any suggestions?
