I’m having problems with my adjustment layers. When ever I click to add one the little box comes up (Layer Properties) asking if I want to name the layer and stuff. Well after I click ok. Nothing else comes up. It wonΒ’t bring up the color balance layer. I canΒ’t even click on the color balance layer to modify it. It instantly goes over to eyedropper tool and I cant click anything.

Any help is greatly appreciate considering I love and live on these adjustment layers. πŸ™‚

Really dumb question: Are you clicking the correct button? It sounds like you are trying to "alt-click" the new layer button, because none of the adjustment layers give you the option of naming it right off the bat. The adjustment layer button is the circle split in half.

Or, you could try going to "Layer-New Adjustment Layer" and seeing if that works.

Yea, I go to Layer/ New Adjustment Layer and choose color balance. The layer properties comes up and that it. Then once the color balance layer is on the layer palette I cant even click on the half shaded in circle to open the color balance layer. πŸ™ The second I click it, photoshop will switch to the Eyedropper tool. πŸ™

Your dialog box is offscreen.Used different screen rez lately? Or two monitors?

Change to highest screen rez for your monitor, see if you see it, drag it back.

Or reset prefs if that doesn’t work.
