Some work, some don’t. I have downloaded the latest keyboard drivers. After reviewing tons of issues at the Adobe web-site I am still lost.

Does anyone else have this problem, do I have to re-create the shortcut keys on my system?

Any help is appreciated as the tutorial I am going through makes extensive use of the shortcut keys.

Thanks!

Keyboard driver, eh? I’ve got W2K on one machine with USB keyboard, and one with PC connection, and have never had any problem, regardless of whether I’m choosing either the right, or left Ctrl key. What keyboard are you using? I would suspect that it is a problem with the keyboard, even though you have their latest drivers. I have one machine with an "enhanced" keyboard, requiring drivers, but don’t have PS on it, so I can’t duplicate your problem. That machine also has WinME on it also.

The reason I checked drivers was it’s one of those fancy Microsoft keyboards with tons of buttons and one-click type buttons that are mapped to particular functionality.

many keyboard and mouse drivers have options to shut off some of the features or assign different keys when you are using selected programs. many also let you test the keys functionality.

For example, my MS mouse works fine with default winxp drivers but the advanced functions that apply to my model are only found in the add-on driver.

This might be a silly question, but is it a legal, licensed copy of Photoshop?

There is a "crack" for Photoshop floating around the ‘net that contains a bug that causes it to screw up the control key with some functions.
