I’ve just updated my video driver and now Adobe Gamma won’t do its stuff at start-up [though it’s in the start-up floder] and won’t work [nothing changes when I move the colour sliders] when I try to use it from Control Panel.

Any thoughts why this might be?

Possibly AG is latching onto the wrong video device. I’d start by booting in safe mode (assuming you’re on Windows!), and deleting any video adapters that you are no longer using. Unused video adapters are normally hidden from the Device Manager, but they will show up in Safe Mode..

Also, try backing out the video driver and see if the problem goes away.

If neither of these does it, post back again, with info on which adapter, OS platform, and version of Photoshop you are using so that others can help you a little more.
