In hi-end industry of fashion-beauty, skin is basic. To obtain a perfect skin with detail (texture, pores) but without imperfection and uniform is a really hard thread. I think that they use another techniques, but not use gaussian blur, median or other filters. So, many people say that a good makeup, light, etc in the original shot is the key. I dont think that, because in this link, we can see how the make up and light in the original shot are basic, but the post production work in photoshop is great. How to make this perfect skin? The great question!

Similar thing but possibly using filters like Kodak gem/sho etc but the key to this work is making very good feathered masks, look carefully at the eyebrows and youl see they are cut so here the mask was sharp now look at the fine hairs towards her ears and you’ll sse them fade where the mask was feathered, finaly a coloured low opacity flesh colour layer was probably applied to give uniform colour. Excellent work.

Thanks for your reply Kingdom. I dont think that this skin texture was made with someone kodak plug because the kodak plugs smooth and this skin is with texture.

You could try DCE tools
http://www.mediachance.com/plugins/
This is the blurb from the site
"The Portrait Skin Cleaner plug-in will smooth out the skin of your model while preserving the details of eyes or hair.
You have the ability to adjust the strength of the filter and create clean yet naturally looking advertisement-like soft skin"

Did you try a filled flesh colour layer then reduce the opacity?

yes kingdom and the result is no more really.I think that they use anyone 3d program to generate perfect skin texture and then apply in a new layer (blend mode overlay). This is only I can think

just about got it now, applied an orange 75% photographic filter and fiddled a bit with hue/sat and its nearly perfect.

would like to know how the original was done just out of curiosity

The original looks like it was done by someone that
is a very good real life artist/airbrusher. IMO

Where did you get these pictures from and what was their original purpose, was it to demonstrate Photoshop in some way or what ?.
Knowing their origin might help to answer how and why they were produced in the first place

A very similar result can be obtained by masking out the areas you want sharply defined and using selective de-noising (maybe just de-noise in PS)on the remainder. You can also reach a near identical result using ‘noise ninja’ at a high level of noise removal. Incidently… My Sigma SD9 produces these type of skin tones when I alter the capture settings to limit noise!
