I am taking a graphic into photoshop from another software, the graphic is then reduced to 3 inch x 2 inch, coverted to bitmap and then saved as a TIF. It looks fine on the screen (no grid), but when I print it there is a grid on the graphic.
info:
software: photoshop 6 and 7 (tried both)
OS: windows xp
computer running: 2800 athlon
RAM: 512 M
Graphic produced in: Pro-Engineer
I have tried various different methods, i.e. I can take the same graphic into word and it is fine (no grid when printed), but if I save it as a pdf (through acrobat) and then take it into photoshop the grid appears when printed. Also tried taking it into illustrator, saving as EPS and then taking it into photoshop, but still there is a grid.
