I’m trying to do something pretty simple, but it’s proving to be pretty tough. I’m trying to create a jigsaw pattern I can use in AutoCAD for "printing" on a LaserCAMM to cut out a wooden puzzle. Pretty easy right? Well no. So here’s my question.
If I have a Photoshop file, can be any size, resolution, all it contains are black lines where the puzzle edge pieces are, how can I either:
A. Export this to Illustrator then save to a DXF or DWG file
B. Print or save to some kind of Vector file format
I’ve tried (unsuccessfully) to save it as Illustrator paths then take those into AutoCAD as Vector data.
Any help would be appreciated.
