I have a vase on a table, with a street scene as the background. Am trying to find a way to change the perspective of the street scene so that it wraps around and spills onto the table and becomes a horizontal surface on which the vase is placed. Does anyone have a way of doing this? Thanks.

Is the street scene a separate image? If so then copy and past it into the vase picture, and move the layer so it is below the vase layer. Make sure the street layer is active, with the opacity of the vase layer set to a value so that you can see both. Select > Select All, and Free Transform the Street layer by Control-Dragging the corners so that the align with the table top.

Then, add a layer mask to the Vase layer, hiding the table top, and set the layer back to full opacity.

John,

Thanks for the response. That gets me part way there but I’m looking for a "wrap-around" effect so that the horizontal layer curves up until it is vertical. In other words, imagine that the vase is on a piece of paper that curves up behind the vase and gradually becomes a background. Your suggestion would involve the paper being creased so that it abruptly switches from horizontal to vertical. I’ve never seen the curved effect and it may be impossible to do in a credible manner. In that case, I’ll go with what you suggestion.
