Is there a way to include the Grid that I am using on an image so that it will print out. I’m printing a house/floor plan and want to use it for quick measurements.

Thanks, Gene

Nope. You’ll have to make your own on another layer.

Easy as pie Gene – if the plan is small enough to fit on-screen at 100%, just do a screen capture & paste into a new document. -alu

Gene,

This is something that many have wanted for some time. One work-around that I have used is to leave Grid on, when image is Save(ed) and open it in Painter (up to ver 8). The Grid is visible (actually you can’t get rid of it!), and then the Grid will print. Now, this brings in another program, and also Painter is not the best printing program, but it works fine. I do not know about this working with later vers of Painter, but from 3-7 it was a "problem" or a cure, depending on what you wanted.

Hunt………Thanks for the great suggestion. Works perfectly. As an extra step, I’ve copied the "Paint" bitmap back into Photoshop so I can open/edit it from there.
