Hello, All!

I was watching one of Russell Brown’s tutorial movies and he used a Filter|Render|Lighting Effect filter. But his dialog for this filter had a long list of styles. My CS2 has no styles for Lighting effects. Do I need to install these? Any idea where to find them?

Thanks,
Colonel Blip.

They should be there. Look in your Filters folder. Is there a Lighting Styles folder in it?

Yes there is a Lighting Styles folder. I’ve set my system up (for sync to my laptop) with a link from the default plugins folder on my desktop to a different drive/folder. The filters are all in that folder as is the Styles folder. The filters work fine; the styles however do not.

Currently, in the program files folder for CS2, within the Plug-Ins (L:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins) I have the shortcut to my normal filters folder (F:\Photoshop\Plugins\Filters). As mentioned that works fine for the filters. After your note, I copied
F:\Photoshop\Plugins\Filters folder into L:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins folder to see if that would solve the problem. Still no styles.

Where are your styles? Maybe I’ve still got it in the wrong place.

Thanks,

Colonel Blip.
