And on the same line, the plural of cafe is cafes.

bike_flowers would be much better without the post.

in bike02 the most interesting part is the trash bag????

bikes_in_jordaan needs to be rotated a bit to make the center verticals truly vertical, as do bridge_grimburgwal, bridge_herengracht, bridge_nieuwe_spiegelstraat, and in fact most of the bridge photos.

Why do canalview and successors have starfish?

All the pictures are nice and sharp!

Couple of suggestions. Don’t place your subject or horizon in the centre, isolate the best bits of the image and photograph them only, try to compose to lead the eye through the image, pick more interesting subjects, be up at sunrise and sunset to get the best light, try using a polariser, don’t just point and shoot, think how you can improve the image first.

Excellent response, I like it when someone tries to help another better their work… Unfortunately I’m not an expert in this area so I couldn’t be of much help other than to say I did like some of the images…

Geoff, your site is lovely, some of the images are wonderful….
