Hello,

I’ve downloaded the trial of PS:CS,a great programme! but I cant paste images, F4 doesn’t work, CTRL+V not and Edit»Paste also not. I haven’t change any settings. In Paint it pastes, and text also pastes in Word. I’m using XP

Can anyone help me with this?

Christiaan

(P.S. Sorry for my bad English)

you need to create an image first. file> new (crtl-n). then paste (crtl-v). ps doesn’t create an image by defualt if one isn’t already open, but the new dialog box will automatically select the dimentions of the image in the clipboard if you tell it to.

This got me too when I first started PS. lol. I was so used to so many programs where if you had an image in clipboard, you could simple press CTRL + V in order to auto create a new image at the dimensions of the image and then paste the contents in.

I was VERY suprised to see PS:CS not have this, not some type of Multiple Screen Capturing Capability. PSP8.0 has a decent one and it was only $69.

Still, PS:CS can whoop the pants off PSP on just about any and everything, but PSP is great for the price.
