I’ve created a number of gif’s with ImageReady and no matter mow you set the time interval for each frame (even if you set it to Zero) the motion is always Jerky, never smooth.

Other software I’ve tried (Ulead’s Gif Animator 5 ) produces perfect flawless motion since it seems to use the exact time per frame you choose.

Is there a fix for ImageReady or is it just Bad Software ?

Are you adding automatic tweening frames? If you get jerky movement, you probably need more automatic tweening frames. For example, to move a small block of text 100 pixels or so, I would add about 20 tweening frames.

If you’re not familiar with that in ImageReady: create your first frame, create your last frame, then select "tween" from the flyout menu in the animation palette.
