I am making a Picture Directory for a group with about 550 pictures. I can’t figure a way to sort these pictures by name. All files have been changed to names. Any advice would be appreciated.

If what you wish to do is Sort and have the files organized by creator’s name, I’d suggest assigning a number to each creator, say 001 for Tom Smith, and 002 for Jane Pugh. Append these #’s as a prefix to the file name, so you can Sort on the alpha/numeric aspect of the files. You would need a key (Rosetta Stone, if you will) for the list of creators. If this is NOT what you want to do, then never mind.

Hm-m-m, I don’t know. I’ve never had to "trash" my Painter perfs. If I find the answer, I’ll post it.

Sorry,
