Hi everyone,

Could anyone tell me which graphic tablet is the best for your buck? I am looking for something between 6×8 in and 9×12 in. Although Wacom seems like the best choice, I have noticed that other brands (ie Adesso, Genius, etc) offer competitive pricing on similar products.

I will be doing illustrations (drawings and such) in photoshop and illustrator on a mid-range PC.

Any help is more that appreciated.

Thanks A Bunch

I use a Wacom tablet for some touch-ups and effects on digital photo files. (Though I do use a smaller one.) I have never heard of these other companies –
though I did not do a lot of research, having decided on Wacom beforehand. I am sure most will recommend Wacom as they are pretty much the standard.

Having used Wacoms for many years, with never a problem (well, only one with an Intuos I, but it was RF interference from some big monitors), I offer that Wacom is the best for the $. Build quality has always been great, and support, both hardware & software, has been perfect. Of the two that you mention, only Genius rings a bell, though I knew them from mice, rather than tablets.

Even my ArtZII Serial 12×12 is still working after ~12-15 years of hard use. Even the same stylus nib and overlay!
