Method to record real time drawing

Does any one know if its possible to record while you draw with a paint or pencil function? I’d like to make a simple animation and am wondering if you can simply record as you draw?

Are there any progams that do that?

Yes, it’s called Painter 9. It’s been around for a long time and can record and playback your brushstrokes. go here —————–
