HI All,
being new to photoshop and such I am wondering if there is a way to ‘import’ a PDF file so that I can change some of the text in it. The file was originally created uin Photoshop (if that matters anything…)
Thanks!

double post, dries!

dumb answer:
only if the text layers weren’t merged to background and the file was saved as pdf (not printed via distiller/acrobat).
so does ps 7.01 (just tested)

Thanks! I have been looking for such a function but cannot find it in my version of Photoshop (Version 9.0, CS2). Would you know if there is an equivalent function there?
Sorry for asking but I’ve spent a few hours on this and do not get any further…
Thanks!

Use File>Open As>Photoshop PDF.
Depending on how the PDF was made, you may not be able to make any changes to the text in Photoshop and would need to use Illustrator or the full version of Acrobat. It is possible to "lock" a pdf so that no changes can be made.
