Could use some help on this one from a knowledgable source:
I’m designing an interface for java developers. There are 2 animated gifs used in the interface. Both were created using ImageReady and the developers report that the animated gifs cause the system to use 100% of its resources (not good). Anyone know why ImageReady animated GIF might causes such an issue? I recreated the same ones using Flash and sent them to the developers. The Flash exported animated GIF caused no issues. However, Flash distorted my visuals – but that’s a topic for another newsgroup.
Anyone?
